  • WSU VERSUS BRADLEY PREDICTIONS AND PREGAME DISCUSSIONS

Here's the deal. Good news: We won 2 close games that could have went either way. Bad News--Some of the same problems are still plaguing us that could haunt us downstream. What does it all mean? Our beloved Shocks need to play 40 minutes of Shocker basketball Sat. and take total command of this game. Who of our 10 rotation players will step up in this game? I think it is of essence that The Shocks shore up the areas that are hurting us and keep improving each and every game from Sat. onward. We have a lot of unfinished Valley buswax to finalize. See you all there.

0-11, 0-11, 0-11. Jim Les cannot wait for this season to be over. Shades of Evansville, Shocks 93-60.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

My glass has gone from half full to overflowing.

WSU could start Richardson, Orukpe, and Brown and still win this game.

Bradley has nothing to lose. But they will still lose LOL.

        WSU - 79
        Bradley - 62

Hopefully we have turned the corner.

Up less than 5 at half, but win by 15.

What an awesome game to put on ESPN2.

I hope the student section can be halfway creative and somewhat decent. They are starting to lose ground in the Valley pecking order.

Coach gets sick & tired of playing 1/2 the game. Saturday afternoon games seem a little louder. WSU is inspired for 30+ minutes, wins 93-63!

This game is on "the deuce" and will stink up the airwaves like a deuce. Blowout win. I'm in rare agreement with Aargh that KC Hunt, Phil Mendelsson, Rick Conn, Jerome Hamilton and Derek Brown beat this Bradley squad. Does Les get another chance next year?

When blow-outs happen on ESPN the announcers seem to fill the void by going on and on about the team doing the arse-whooping.

In a way that's a great opportunity for JT and Toure and some others to get a lot of positive press -- if they lay the smack down like they should.

                            It will either be:

                            1. Bradley hits every shot they take during the first half and the Shocks can't hit the broad side of the out-house. But then the Shox, after GM's ass chewing in the locker room, come storming back the second half and win by 25.

                            2. Or, the Shcx come ready to play the first half and build up a 25 point lead. They then coast the second half with even the water boy getting a few minutes and win by 30.

I think Coach Les will get another chance. The health issues and injury to Brown and Maniscalco pretty much blew up his team before the season even started.

I want to see the Shocks keep Andrew Warren from going off against us. Hold him to at or below his 20 point average in MVC games.

Beyond that we need to get Joe hitting some shots and we need to get Aaron, D-Will and Ben back into the flow.

                              Shocks - 77
                              Braves - 63

Let's save our big blowout game for when the Bluejays drop by for a visit.
