Were you watching the game I watched?

Hatch had 1 basket, missed 3 FT, had 1 board and 1 turnover ... and played 28 minutes He constantly gets beat on the dribble-drive and is playing defense from behind. There have been numerous times in recent games that Hatch has cost other guys fouls; he lets his guy drive by him and the bigs have to rotate over and desperately try to stop Hatch's man.

I don't know when I have ever seen a player swing so far from asset to liability as Hatch has.

Next home game, keep you eyes on Hatch when he enters the game. Within 2 minutes, he'll get beat 2 or 3 times on defense.

I'm not sure that phenomenon is limited to Hatch. While you're correct, there were also numerous times where he did a good job of keeping his guy in front of him.

      • Another scary, but good win.

Offensively, five of our 10 guys scored all but six of our total points.

        What's with:

        Smith 12 min - 0 points

        Ragland 19 min - 0 points

        Hatch 28 min - 2 points

        Ellis 9 min - 2 points

        Williams 3 min - 2 points

        • It's gotta be a huge concern that we are to february and still do not know who our point guard is.

You could add Murry, Kyles, DWill and Rags to that list. Hatch played quite well on D last night.

I had to listen on the radio since I'm outside the TV coverage. I didn't hear the announcers talk about him getting burned as much as they have some other games. He also got more compliments on things he was doing defensively. Not that I think he had a great game and his free throw shooting is unacceptable, but he wasn't the liability that he has been in some other games recently.
