  • Bobby Knights comment on KState vs Baylor

"When I go home tonight I think I'm going to take a moment to quietly thank all the smart players that played for me. I cant say I have seen much of that here this evening." Bob Knight
    OUCH! 8) :posterwu:

    Close game

I watched quite a bit of the first half.

In addition to their ugly uniforms, I thought they played very poorly.

The Cats kept turning the ball over with stupid passes, which stood zero chance of success.

In addition, the Cats could not hit the broad side of a barn from any distance.

The only reason the Cats were ahead, when I stopped watching, was because the Bears were worse. The Bears were in a foul frenzy. Half way throught the half, two Bears had three fouls.

Spratling was the only bright spot for the Cats, which I could see.

Coach Knight's commentary, while somewhat restrained, clearly indicated the play was incredulous.
"Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future."

    --Niels Bohr

Knight also didn't like Martin "cheerleading" on the sidelines. He said that he should be more concerned about running his zone offense.

That was some ugly basketball between two NIT-caliber teams right there. Every time I see Pullen play, he seems to be getting worse and worse. I think his team will be better off without him in the NIT anyways.

      Still no BSCat sightings..

      ... No really, deuces.

        Wow

I don't often watch K-State, so maybe I've missed it in a previous game, but what the hell was that color they were wearing tonight? Apparently fashion isn't quite as big a deal in the Little Apple as it is in the Big one.

It was very painful to watch that game last night. Both teams played poorly. It looks to be a long, ugly second half of the season for the Wildcats.

I can't stand to listen to Bob Knight. I can only imagine what kind of negative comments he would have made had he been covering the Indiana State game.

Whatever he said more than likely would have been true though.

I love to listen to Bob Knight do games. He tells it like it is and doesn't hold anything back. In the second half of that game last night I think he was so disgusted with the ugly play that he lost interest. There was a couple times I thought he was snoozing while Brent was blabbing away about something or other.

That was the ugliest game I have watched all year. I had both my kids, who play basketball, come watch how NOT to play the game!

It's amazing how K-State has gone from #1 in the Big 12 to #3 in the state of Kansas.

                          Heights is pretty awesome.

Knights delivery and style drive me crazy, I hate when he's calling games. But the sentiment behind his words is usually dead on.

Just pairing him up with someone other than Musberger would help a ton.
