  • That was one of the worst overall performances I can recall. Yes, we won. We were out rebounded by a team that had no business winning that battle. We shot a lot of stupid three's. I'm a big fan of the inside out method on offense. Too many times our post players get good position and work their tails off to get it and aren't rewarded. Garrett was demanding the ball as he had his man sealed and Rags looked and decided he'd pass the ball around the perimeter more. If it weren't for Stutz and Rags we would have had horrid stats at the FT line. Unacceptable.

This team has a lot of work to do. This win convinces me of nothing positive. I'm not convinced that we're for real as I'm not convinced the Trees are really that good. Much better than they've been in the past, but they should not be hanging with us in Wichita. End of story.

Had we lost, I was going to take an extended leave from this board. Even though we won, I may just have to take a week off because this team is frustrating as hell and irritating the crap out of me by underperforming repeatedly.

    • I don't have a problem of teams taking threes. I much prefer an open offense where guys are free to shoot the ball. The problem as I see it are:
      1) We are passing up open threes coming in the rhythm of the offense for challenged shots late in the shot clock, and
      2) We never seem to have anyone under the boards to gather in rebounds on missed 3's. Those should be the easiest offensive rebounds to get.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.
