Except that a&m has ZERO basektball tradition and did nothing until gillespie got there. Who here honestly thougth mt could keep them in the national picture, they had never been there in the last 50 years
Nobody has tradition until they get it.
TAM is getting it.

We just got worked by MSU and UNI at home.....
I'll trade places with them at this point.

We came off two convincing road wins and were facing a very well-coached team that has recovered from their early losses. And despite the great atmosphere every MVC player loves to come to Koch Arena.
Then when MSU lost tonight I knew we were probably going to lose as well.
Not pickin' on you Royal, but I'm real tired hearing about trap games. You either have your players up and ready or you don't.

That's because Texas is better than TAM.
Rankings in college basketball mean nothing, evidenced by KSU being in the top 25 after about 11 straight losses. TAM is a top 20 team, but not 10th. Texas should be higher than they are and they are proving it tonight.
I wouldn't be surprised if Texas went into Lawrence on Saturday and beat KU and stopped their home win streak.
did he say anything about being out-coached, out-recruited and beaten by UNI? Or that the players don't seem to start until late in the second half? Pre-game, Dave reported that Coach Jans said they were focusing on getting a good shot with their first possession. Remember the first two possessions for the shox?

I believe we had 2 dunk shots.
Oh wait, no, we didn't....

1)Defense(on the ball, off the ball, help defense, freaking everything.)
2)Screens(on and off the ball)
3)Starting off a game well
If we could just fix these things, we could potentially be a Final Four type Cinderella. The reality is, you can't fix them over night and as a result we can not and will not continually and regularly beat good teams.
Dunno if PG was the deal here. We gave them way too many good looks. Our TO's were at 11, not horrible, but many of them were lazy passes from basically everybody.
UNI beat the Shocks. The Shocks beat themselves with the Bears BUT those of us who've been around the Shocks & the MVC know when a team beats itself it does not bode well for post season. This is looking to be a one team bid and the time peak will be for the Shocks to make a run in the Dance to win it all because it looks like it's the Lou or bust for the NCAAs.
I feel for Ted the Sportshead and the Lockeroon show...
