Wasn't Kenny Lawson the pre-season MVC Player of the year? He seems a nonfactor. Is he hurt or in the doghouse? He wasn't even in the game at crunch time. Does anyone have info on his apparent under-performance?

This has been Lawson all season long. One theory is that he isn't happy about McDermott designing the offense to run through his son instead on him, another is that Altman played favorites (and Lawson was a favorite) and that he hasn't adjusted to not getting special treatment under the new coaching staff. In any case, he hasn't looked interested in playing all year long.

They seem to be giving most of the big man touches to Enchelada, which is fine with me. Enchilada is not an outside threat at all, and he seems to have trouble holding on to the ball when double teamed inside.

Got to give Indiana St. some respect. Makes for interesting week of Shocker athletics at home.

Here's a link to a video of the game winner. Though it kept ISUBlue tied with us, I still love it.

Indiana State's Carl Richard beats Creighton with a no-look tip-in on Jan. 16, 2011 at Hulman Center in Terre Haute, Ind.

Indiants St is about to find out how good they really are. Their next 6 games are MSU, @ WSU, UE, @ CU, WSU, @ MSU. If they go 3-3 I think they should consider themselves lucky.

I watched this game on TV tonight. The last shot was not a tip-in like it had been advertised. The whole shot was short to the basket, and the Indy player caught it and put it in in the last second.

                    The Indy bench went crazy...

Personally, I don't think that Echenique is that good for as big as he is. I would take Durley over him anyday. Early in the game, the announcers were sure harping on Creighton, especally little Mac and Echenique. Little Maq played a pretty good game, but had several misses to start out with.

Personally, I think Indy State will be lucky to win 2 out of the next 6 games they have.
