when will jank learn to schedule some decent competition in the non-conference? totally not ready for the valley. looks like hes going from "padding the wins to move up to a better school" to fighting to keep his job.

I think he's got a few years. Valley teams can't afford to fire coaches, so they have to wait until there's nothing left on the contract to get rid of a coach.
That has a negative impact on recruiting. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I think he's got one more year. He's got an odd roster right now. It's a young team, ....yet it isn't. The 3 players who see the most PT are sophmores averaging over 23 mpg each and accounting for 3 of the top 4 scorers. On the other hand, he'll lose 4 seniors of which only 1 is a top scorer, but all see significant minutes averaging 19 mpg a piece. He also has no juniors. So, yes they are young with quality, but also losing a lot of experience and possibly leadership.
If their play doesn't improve, they may have only 3 wins remaining. With last year's underperformance, that should put him on a very short rope.

My thoughts are that Barry Hinson got fired for less at SWOMO.
