No at large for the conference. Wrong. I still think that we qualify for at large if we keeping doing our thing and win one in the Valley tournament.

That would be an awesome bracket. Revenge for .7 in the NIT. A mid-major 3 seed, and then we can win when it matters against UCONN, and let's beat Turgeon in the Elite Eight. :D

They aren't exactly saying no at-large for the Valley. They really need to say whether or not the projected champ is at-large worthy. If their projected champ (WSU) isn't the champ, then what?

The conference breakdown at the bottom of the page says no at large for the MVC so it's a little confusing.

I took that as the projected champion would be WSU and there wasn't a team qualified for an at large invite for the conference.

And there will be projected champions in a few conference tournaments that don't win it. Take a look at the last four in. Do you think we would beat them out along with any other projected champions that might need an at-large?

RPI Forecast has us predicted to finish with an RPI of 38 and the 13th team out. They use the "dance card" formula which uses previous selection committee choices to predict the at-large field.

4 teams from the WCC? Seriously? In a year when Gonzaga has been down? I don't think so.
              Deuces Valley.
              ... No really, deuces.

Gonzaga and St. Mary's are basically locks. Portland is basically in our position right now. No good wins but all their losses are against good teams. I have no idea how good they actually are.

Somebody has us down as the 13th team out of the tournament?

                  Outrageous!

                    I think the Valley deserves 2 and a least a 7 seed
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

If the dance started tomorrow, but it doesn't...too much basketball left to start wondering "who's on first."

The WCC is 13th in confernce rpi. It would be some kind of record if the 13th place conference got 3 bids let alone 4.

The MVC as a 1 bid league and the projected winner only receives an 11 seed? I think that is a little insulting. For us to be underrated like that though should bode well for us...easier road to the sweet 16. I hope coach doesnt read that, its a major reason he left Winthrop, and now he is just about in the same boat.

Also I just assumed the new play in games would be the 16th and 15th seeds. I had no idea some teams would have to play for a 12th seed!? I sure hope we never fall in that category..

The good part is those games will be between at-large teams. If we win in St. Louis we won't have to worry about a play-in game.
