They always have the banners and weather on during any replays of the game, probably because there aren't enough viewers. I highly doubt they will do that during the live broadcast on Friday. You can record the game live if you have a dvr to get rid of the ads and weather updates to watch replays of the game.

A friend called me on my out of Koch Arena. He was irritated at Craig Steven's commentary. Evidently one remark repeated was that he couldn't believe that the Shockers could come back from the 1st 1/2 to post a 19 pt win. I suggested the quote should have been that he didn't believe his teams couls come back from that 1st 1/2 to post a 19 pt victory.

I don't think that was an untrue comment. The way we were playing in the first half, the fact that we were 5 for our first 25 shots, the fact that we had 13 points about 13 minutes into the game, I also had my doubts of covering the 19 point spread. You would be lying if you didn't doubt yourself at that time.

I'm still wondering how we broke 80 after those first 10 minutes of the first half.

Not that I appreciate the game plan, but it seemed like those around me watched the Bradley game & thought a 4 pt lead was twice as good as what WSU had in Peoria. I'm afraid that one of these teams is going to decide that they have a chance.

I was never really worried. Mainly because I could see that as bad as WSU shot, DU couldn't do anything (especially from outside the arc). I think this is what your going to see this year. Team come out hard and play WSU hard, but WSU will just wear them down and if WSU is on their game (or their shots are falling) they will run them out of the gym.

The thing that I like is WSU just keep coming and coming after them, wave after wave and the intensity just kept getting turned up in the game. WSU was like sharks smelling the blood in the water.

easy, quick baskets off of turnovers or on transition and getting to the FT line stopping the clock.
