Pick em rule change?

There has been a suggestion that appears to have at least some support for a pick em contest rule change. Shockfan963 writes, "It would be better if there was a limit of 4 points to a match up." It would make it a lot more interesting than putting 6 on WSU or whoever else has an easy game.

The main goal of the contest is for all of us to have some fun. I'm looking forward to feedback from the contestants. I'll leave the poll open for just a couple of days.

One of the top four is going to have a gimme pretty much every night. It will be easy (maybe too easy) to score six every time.

It's like scheduling someone from the SWAC for a buy in game.

Probably should change it after the 4th.

I would vote for the third idea on that thread of having 1 point per game, whoever picks the most games correct wins. If that is not an option then I vote for the 4 pts per team limit.

I didn't put in this option since last year the overwhelming majority wanted to stay with the 10 point system we used the previous year. If you favor going back to having one point per game, make a post. I guess it will be a write in.

Alright then, my vote in order of preference:

1) Go back to the one point system
2) Limit 4 points per game
3) Keep it the same

But I'm pleased w/ any scenario.

It's early enough in the season. I don't see why not. This will just help separate the men from the boys. ;)

I'm in favor of moving the maximum to 4, but if I can't put 6 on the Shox every time, I expect I will quicly be exposed as "one of the boys".

I am ok with the current scoring system. But to make it a little more interesting I think 4 points max rule would be good. But make the rule change after pickem 3.
