Well I waited too long to book my room. No rooms available for Friday night. Limited availability on Thursday night and Saturday night for a premium.

The Soulard Mardi Gras is happening at the same time and rooms are becoming scarce in that area.

You need to specifically ask for the WSU Fan Block of rooms. I just called 5 minutes ago and there are still rooms available but going fast.

just booked the drury convention center for $360 for the two nights (fri and sat). stayed there before.. pretty nice, and a 10min walk from the arena, 5 from the lumiere, and 3 from laclede's landing.....


and for the guys... two from hooters.

I have reservations at the Pear Tree (Drury) for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. It is located at 2211 Market Street.

It is about a 5-6 block walk to the arena. It is about a 3 block walk to Union Station.

Here are my rates:

Mar 3 - $113.99
Mar 4 - $139.00
Mar 5 - $139.00

I plan to cancel.

We also stayed at the Pear Tree last year along with several other groups of Shocker fans. It is a short walk and the parking last year was free. They also let us leave our packed up car there after we checked out on Sunday. We have reservations there again. Rooms in the area are filling up much faster than last year.
