  • Games of Interest - 12/18

Evansville played more like the team most of us believe they are winning at home by only 2 over Middle TN 81-79.

BB potential opponent, Cleveland St, played well on the road against WVU losing their 1st game of the season 74-63. They were tied at the 8:30 mark of the second half.

IN St giving Purdue all they want with 13:44 to go on the road 40-37.

FL's 'D' has been impressive. Either that or KSU has been exposed.

CU's "new season" begins tonight. I don't expect them to be any better, at least for a few games.

San Diego State up 57-29 over UC Santa Barbara at the half.

I doubt SDS will have any difficulty holding on for a win.

They wiped the floor with Idaho State 66-60 at home. Gregory is a difference-maker.

He will make them better, but not THAT much better. I don't expect the guy to be the "next coming" like so many seem to think. He had a good line tonight for the minutes he played, but compare it to Garrett and the minutes he played and it's not such of a big deal.

Against a very bad opponent. I expect he will be a better player than Lawson (who I never did think was ALL that great). Lawson has had his good games, but not a consistent threat. I think Echenique will be a more consistent player for them. I don't think he will be a double double guy though. At least not for a while. I say he will average about 10/6 in the Valley this year.
