  • Arch Madness Tix - Dec 15th

ST. LOUIS -- All-session tournament tickets for the 2011 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament, affectionately known as Arch Madness, will be available Dec. 15. The event, which takes place at Scottrade Center, will be held Thursday-Sunday, March 3-6, 2011.

I'm sure a lot of you already know this, but there's probably some of you out there that don't. So..... now you know and knowing is half the battle.

I recently visited with the WSU ticket office and if you order your tickets by January 1, 2011 you receive $15 off the all-session price ($125 value but you pay $110). As my father always said, "that's better than a kick in the butt with a frozen boot." :D

Tickets that are purchased through the WSU ticket office will be rewarded (seats assigned) according to the priority point system. I failed to ask what the deadline would be for PPS? Anyone know?
      SFL is back!

They never have a deadline...in the past they've requested a certain number of additional tickets after Jan 1 deadline and when they're gone, they're gone.

How much are single game tickets at the arena if you cannot attend the entire tourny?

Although I'm not a novice fan, I am novice to attending STL. Is it better to go through WSU, MVC...what about hotel, etc...? Any info would be gratefully appreciated.

Depends on who loses and who gets hot... Through the box office, I think they're $20 or something like that. You can always buy from scalpers depending on the demand of the game $5 - $40 for a ticket.

If you want to sit in the WSU section, you might as well order them through WSU. If you're priority points aren't too good however, you'll end up with not so good seats. As for hotel, I normally book that on my own and don't do the team hotel...for some reason I've grown accustomed to staying right across the street from the arena...

Unfortunately, this might be the first year in quite some time that I might have to miss St Louis, or I guess i could bring the kids this year, just not sure how much fun a 3 month old in St Louis is going to be....people are already lining up for my tickets, hoping I decide not to go. You know who you are!

So what you're saying is you ordered or will order the usual tickets and I can tell my wife that she doesn't have worry about it.

For those of us who are not SASO members and don't have season tickets, will there be enough WSU section tickets for us? Which hotel is right across the street?
                    In the fast lane

I think the moose stays at the Hampton Inn and there should be plenty of tickets available. Really looking forward to it again this year and going to the hill at least two maybe three times this year. Really most of the hotels downtown are close to the arena and the train is usually only a block or two from the further away locations. We have stayed at the westin several times and will again this year but have stayed at the siu hotel which is two blocks further east.

Sure, there's all the tickets we want. If you want reserved all session passes, call WSU and put in your order. The tickets probably won't be the greatest, but you can always move down like everyone else does. I always have a fun time kicking people out of my seats, especially when they are from other schools.

In terms of hotels, I don't mind staying at the Sheraton which is barely a block away... Also have stayed at the Peartree Inn and Drury Inn, both right by Union Station and in good locations. Have also stayed at the Drury Inn closer to the Arch and the Millennium. I've preferred the Sheraton, due to its close proximity to the arena however.

There are some really great places right across the river in East St. Louis, easy walking distance and a lot cheaper the that high dollar stuff close to the arena.

you could also make a quick stop at hollywood's on the way back to the hotel.
