Frankly there has not been a game this year that brought the crowd into play. There have been easy cupcake games that usually have a 10-20 point lead early on. Who expects the crowd to get going when we are playing nobodies with a big lead?

On the flip side, I have to admit that I am really disappointed with the atmosphere this year. It is pathetic. From song selection, to cheer leading. What's the deal? It just seems dead in there. Is it simply our sucky home schedule? Could be. When I look at the ticket stub for tonight I just can't get into it. Sad to admit. I love the Shocks but c'mon.
Wow, really... you're going to blame the lack of energy of the crowd on the cheerleaders and the band?? Let's first talk about the teams that have been coming into play. Now that we're getting good and our arena is a tough one to play in nobody (that's worth getting loud about) wants to come and play in our house.

Especially that 1st half. I think the echo off the empty seat backs added more than the no-shows would have. Marshall was good for 100 db at times.

I don't know about whole game or not, but maybe the loudest moment was when Matt Brauer hit the three against Creighton in 2006, I was there it sounded like a bomb went off.

The free throws in the Evansville game, where the player was in the act of shooting from 40 feet out, ranks right up there.
