Mark Nale was on Overtime Live on KAKE tonight. He was a member of the Heights 1977 basketball team that is said to be the best Kansas high school team ever.

He had a book signing today for his book, called "Acrophobia 1977, that chronicles the Wichita Heights 1977 basketball team.

He said that "Acrophobia 1977" was an appropriate title for his book (acrophobia means "fear of heights").

I graduated from a different Wichita HS in 1977 and Heights basketball was an admired thing of beauty. The names Darnell Valentine, Calvin Alexander, Doc Holden, James Carr, Antoine Carr and Coach Norwood bring back visions of a high school team like no other.

I hope the book does well.
