  • The line on tonight's game

SDSU by 8.5 to 9.5 points.

    What's up with that?

If I had a bookie, I'd lay some scratch on that.

If I had the money I'd lay a ton on the Shocks.

I wouldn't touch this line. I could easily see the Shocks losing by double digits.

Double digits? ha! Very unlikely. Marshall is too good of a coach for this to happen. tHings would have to really fall a part to lose by double digits.

The last time we played in a hostile environment (Utah State) we lost by 10. I also believe San Diego State is better than Utah State. That's not to say we're not better than last year, but I don't think this years team would automatically go win in Logan either. Losing by double digits in a sold out, hostile 12k arena in which we're playing the #17th ranked team halfway across the country is not "very unlikely" and it doesn't indicate anything falling apart. I could see the Shocks winning, I could see the Shocks losing by 10. I don't automatically think this game is going to go down to the wire.

The shocks have learned from the UCONN opportunity. We won't let this one get out of hand. Prediction...Hatch finds his stroke and goes for 15. Shaox win 69-65

I think the Shocks as a team learns to stop the dribble drive. Kyles continues to show why he is the early season MVC MVP and Hatch, Durley, and Stutz have breakout games. Well, sounds good, hope it works out, the talent is there. Forgot Murry with an average nite of 12 pts. 7 rbs and 8 ast

My buddy who I share season tickets with is on the ground in Sin City. I'm struggling whether I want in on this action. Doc PM me.

I find all the double-digit talk humorous. No one is right and no one is wrong. It's all percentages/odds of what may happen. And what happens this game is not necessarily what would happen in the next 1 or 10. Out of 10 games played at San Diego, WSU may very well lose by double digits 1 or 2 times. SDSU may lose by that much once. Probable fact is, that if both teams are evenly match, SDSU, at home, should win 6-7 times. Same would be true in WSU's favor if they played 10 times in Wichita. This may be the game SDSU wins by double digits, maybe WSU.

I support and have faith in my team that they a fair chance of winning this game. If they give their best, from start to finish, they will win most all of their games. That's all I ask of them, to give their best. Hopefully, if they do that, it'll be a big win.

I don't think we're evenly matched. At this point on December 4th, we aren't Top 20 quality. That is subject to change later on, but at this point, we are not as far along as SDSU.

You can't blame the pundits for expecting WSU to lose. WSU has a track record of struggling on the road, have not beaten a name team this year, playing a team who has beaten name opponents.

As a WSU fan you have to be kind of worried because there are some warning signs about this team may have trouble meeting pre-season expectations. This game will either increase those concerns or go along ways in extinguishing them.

I don't EXPECT us to win, however I am hopeful that we will do what it takes during the course of the game to have a chance in the end. I don't believe we will lose by more than 10. A loss at SDSU will not a season ruin, just an opportunity lost. What a loss does do, is make Nick St., Bama A&M, LSU & the Canes must wins before the Valley march begins.

9-2 non con, 14 or 15 wins in the Valley, plus a BB win & getting to the STL finals will be enough to dance in March. Stay away from "bad" losses with the pre-season attention we have received, and we will be fine to be asked to dance.

10 points could easily happen if we have to start putting them on the line late. I've seen SDSU once and the who'd three times. Not enough info to know who wins.
