I mean I got the association of wheat, orange and a hef, but why was it called shock top. Then I saw your logo and I knew there had to be some connection.
A short google session and a history lesson later, now it all makes sense. I will now bore my friends(as I am boring you now) with this trivia next time some one orders a beer.Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss

"Well you see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo and when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive drinking of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers."Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss

Originally posted by SDSU_GuyI can not tell you how much we are looking forward to this game. We have a lot of respect for your team and we are very very nervous, but I think it should be one hell of a game either way.
I watched the uconn game and was very impressed and couldn't help but notice that our teams seem very similar, both teams are deep and full of athletes. I think this one just comes down to who brings their A game and who dosnt.
For those of you coming to the game, feel free to PM if you have any questions about what to do, where to eat ect. Also some friendly advice, dont park next to Viejas. Park on the other side of campus in PS6 and use the visitor parking machine, its cheaper and you wont get stuck in the traffic jam. Better yet park for free and take the trolly(light rail) there is a station on campus and its a 2 min walk to the arena tops.
Good luck to you guys the rest of the season! (effective sunday)
Well done sir. Welcome and thanks for sharing your insight. I too wish you well down the road.
