A foul is a foul no matter what time of the game.

Could have been a no-call but I agree, a foul is a foul no matter the time on the clock.

You love to get these calls and hate it when they go against you.

            False.
Fouls are prohibited during the last 5 seconds of the game? Really?

KU got lucky there. UCLA did make a boneheaded play. Agreed with RH. He wasn't gonna make that desperation shot.

I didn't think it was a good call. It looked like both players were just fighting for a loose ball.

Nothin' like home cookin'. That should have been a no call as the KU player did not establish control of the ball, IMO

I thought it was a good call just because I didn't want to see UCLA win. There was a similiar play last year against WSU, and they called it.

Haven't seen the clip yet, but the rules are the same from gun to gun.

Why do you think they have won 64 in a row there
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

I thought the call was horrible. It was border line at best, and to decide the outcome of the game on a borderline call is rediculous. I wish they would have showed a second camera angle on it.

For those that say the game should be called the same for the entire game, I agree somewhat, but also consider this. When that call was made last night, the referees were at that point declaring KU the winner of the contest. There was zero chance for UCLA to win once that call was made. When that call is made at any other point in the game, it does not immediately and effectively decide the winner of the game. The other team still has a chance to overcome it. That's where the small distinction lies in my opinion.

                            Deja vu!

Seriously, we could take the opinions expressed here, copy/paste them into the thread above and it would be a seemless splice.

Simply because they have been the best program in the nation the past 5 years :noidea:

Michigan State comes in a very close second.
