we definately have the depth to make them earn it at the foul line.

Hatch's effort last night was incredible. If just 3 other guys played as hard, consistently as Graham does, we would be a threat to go to the Final 4.
      I could not agree more.

No kiddin'. And he's so strong with the ball that when he gets fouled he barely budges so he never gets the call (yet the foul often causes a turnover). Drives me nuts when the refs don't see what we see.

If he ever learns to draw more attention to the foul instead of brute force his way through it, he'd be even more potent. But it's just not in some guys' nature to whine about getting fouled and I can respect that.

FYI - AztecMesa has a couple of threads about the upcoming game.

            From ESPN:

Kawhi Leonard was nearly invisible for San Diego State Wednesday night. The Aztecs were playing a tough St. Mary's team out of the WCC, but pulled out the surprisingly easy victory against the Gaels even without much contribution from their foul-plagued star.

"Leonard, averaging 18 points and 10.5 rebounds, got into foul trouble early in both halves and finished with six and eight in just 23 minutes," reported SignOnSanDiego.com. "Yet every time Saint Mary?s threatened to pare the deficit under double digits, the Aztecs would block a shot into the sideline water cooler or knock down another three or convert a steal into a fast-break layup or get another putback off an offensive rebound."

Opponents are well aware of Leonard's abilities by now, so there will be nights when he's shut down. The good news for the Aztecs is that five other players on the roster are averaging nine points per game or above. We're fudging a bit on that stat, because Malcolm Thomas actually sits at 8.9 ppg, but we'll award him that .1 of a point in honor of his status as the team's second-best rebounder (six per game) and best shot-blocker (1.7 per). This well-rounded and very efficient team looks to be prepared for the lean nights as well as the easy ones.
