okay, so MVC has done bad this year, but last year didn't we as a conference beat them as a whole? Did we think that we were too good for them and in the future not reschedule the series? No way. It's good for two conferences like this to schedule a series. Some years are better than others, so get over it.

True, but the FOY had 20 and 12. Chewy has really shortened his bench in favor of playing his son 33+ minutes a game (as well as Antoine Young and anyone else that can take it). Impressive now, I wonder what the upside is and how the entire 5 will stand up late in the season.

BYU is simply better than Creighton so the outcome is not surprising. The Jays are going to have to want to play some defense at some point if they plan on being much above .500 (see UNI).

Most speculated that UE, DU & SIU would be down again, but ISU-Red is in deep trouble too.

Note MSU blew out UALR last night, the same team ISU lost to two weeks ago. They get absolutely blown out again last night by UNLV - at home.

All the weak scheduling in the world isn't going to save HCJank this year. 8)
Above all, make the right call.

The MWC conference will be taking some hits very soon in losing Utah, BYU, and TCU. These are most of the schools that non-MWC fans think of first when you think of the MWC and they will no longer be there. When these schools are gone, it will knock them down a peg, at least for a while.

New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV and Nevada will be there. That's not a bad group.

Not a bad group at all. Wonder if they want new members? :)

Sub - Good indeed. But as for recognition, only UNLV would stand out in this group. Think of what they could have been had the others stayed and if they'd expanded to 12 teams.

Maybe a new non-football playing member? Or a school with a 3-5 year plan to bring football back? :D

I didn't know that BYU was leaving the MWC. Where are they going?

UNI ended up beating Iowa St. last night. So the Valley did avoid the big Goose egg. Not a good night for the Valley but certainly better than going 0-3 against that group.

After last night it appears that, just like Obi Wan for the Rebel Alliance, we are the only hope for the Missouri Valley Conference this year.

We all saw what happened to the first Death Star so I feel pretty good about Saturday in San Diego. Let's just hope it doesn't take a last second photon torpedoe from David Kyleswalker, I don't think my nerves can handle that.

SIU in a barn burner with Chicago State. 59-51 in the 2nd half. Wow.
