To illustrate how fluid and unreliable the RPI is at this point in the season, Warran Nolan has us at #48. That is a drop of 10 spots since yesterday. The only game played by one of our opponents was UMKC losing on the road to IPFW (RPI 91). That loss should not have hurt our RPI, but other team's RPIs can change so much that it results in such a drop.
Reggie Chamberlain missed a 3 at the end of regulation that would have won it. So would have a defensive stop pretty much anytime in the last 5 minutes. The Roos really choked this game away.
UMKC missed a great chance to score an early win on the road in conference.
They should be better than their record (last year) and I be this year they'll be just a shade below .500 in conference. They should be better than that.
