    +1

I did send them an email message concerning this horrible service (not that it will do any good).

I surfed at halftime and watched the finale of the Virginia/Minnesota game. MAN, the video and audio are far superior!

Y'all should flood AD Sexton's inbox with complaint letters.

I really have my doubts about AD Sexton's management skills for a variety of reasons.

I think you all need to barrage the Athletic Department for refunds any time it doesn't work well. Also request a response from them that can be forwarded up the ladder if they don't give a refund for the game, only give lip service, or don't respond at all. Unless a lot of people complain, there's no chance for improvement.

What a colossal embarrassment in the year 2010 to have such a janky POS as Shockervision.

It should be free, like so many other schools' broadcasts.

If not free, it should be reliable.

It is neither. It is a joke.
what schools have free television broadcasts and where do i find them? this could be very useful to me in the future...

The Juco that EO played at last year (Three Rivers?) was free, and much better quality picture.

                It's mainly due to OJT.

ADES is a nice guy. In fact, he is a really nice guy.

But it's painfully obvious he got the job due to connections, not qualifications.

The list of blunders is lengthy and unfortunately, will continue.

WSU is much too large of a University to have an individual 'figure it out' while getting paid to manage a department in a first class manner.

There are smaller schools and institutions where most learn the trade and then advance.

                It's called progression. 8)

There were enough associate ADs in that department with experience here that there should not have been much, or any, drop-off in how the department functioned when ADES was hired.

There has been a failure either by those who learned under Schaus to maintain that level of department-wide competency or by ADES in terms of incorporating his own changes or not learning from those below him. Now that a few of the associate ADs have left, I'm concerned about how the department will recover.

I also suspect that cost-cutting measures (if they are being instituted) may be factoring in to some of the things like advertising, ShockerVision and the lack of Live Stats so far for men's b-ball.

Regardless of the reasons, the department isn't looking very good from the outside.

Shockervision sucked big time long before our present AD. I'll agree, Sexton is a really nice guy.

Shockervision was implemented by the previous administration. If it wasn't for them, you'd have nothing in the first place. Now with the new administration, there has been no effort to advance it past its infancy stage. I haven't used the service in a couple years, but it sounds like its worse off than it was when I used it.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. The entire game production system has seriously gone down hill ever since the administration change.. more notably the last year.

OK. So how many of you that have Shockervision have sent an e-mail to the AD? Received a reply?

Sometimes, AD Sexton has to be nudged to reply. I know from personal experience.

I realize that AD Sexton has more important matters to attend, but he should have administrative assistants to take care of holding the hands of boosters.

I understand what your saying RDR. I was more curious as to how many actually sent e-mails. It's kind of like, if you don't vote, you have no room to gripe. Or, an oldie but goodie, a squeeky wheel gets greased (no squeek, no grease).
