All the Big East sport teams will just love traveling to Dallas. TCU teams will hate traveling east even more. I just don't see TCU ever really being a part of the Big East family. The Big East will use them for football promotion to thump their chest to the other BCS conferences, but my guess is that TCU will always be on the outside looking in.Comment

However, Hawaii (football only), Boise St, Nevada, Fresno does NOT = TCU, BYU, and Utah. They're a weaker conference now and could use the bolster in other sports by adding a couple more schools.Originally posted by Ta town
Yeh, I like the idea of Houston, Memphis, Tulsa, etc, except this out of the blue deal with TCU may have ended any chances that the Big East would take a couple of eastern teams from C-USA and open a door for us to the western schools in C-USA.Comment
