  • Plan B

Plan A was to beat UConn and get good games against MSU, UW or UK. Plan thwarted.

Now we must throttle Chaminade and OU/UV, beat SDSU, soundly defeat Tulsa and LSU, and clobber all others on our OOC schedule. Follow that up by four or fewer losses in league play and we are still in good shape for an at-large. A loss to SDSU shouldn't knock us down too far but we need that win on our resume.

Plan B starts in one hour. Time to get it done, Shocks.

Today we seem to have pre-game on the radio and no internet.

First caller = Ron. Who would have guessed.

The announcer yesterday said more than once that we "passed the eye test".

I am hoping for a chance to play OU. I think our rpi will benefit more if we play OU and win. They at least get to play Texas, KU and KSU.

Then again, Virginia plays in the ACC against the likes Duke, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Maryland, etc. Both schools will play in strong RPI conferences. I think the bigger question is which one has the opportunity to win more conference and non-conference games.

Virginia got dominated, I don't foresee them winning many conference games if the play like that, OU didn't get completely dominated by Kentucky. I would rather play OU, mainly because the big twelve is looking to be stronger to me.

Plan B is still going strong against Kentucky.

                      26-22.
