  • We are a much better team with

Toure Murry running the point, there is a huge difference when he is not bringing the ball up the court. Anybody else agree?

We are better with David Kyles in the game.

If that means Toure plays the point so be it.

Joe and Demetric will get better as the season goes on, and rarely will they be expected to guard players like Walker.

We won't lose many this year, enjoy the ride.

Agree. And truthfully it hasn't taken much away from the rest of his game this year. Good thing too, otherwise we would be in BIG trouble.

His shoes/feet were not even half the problem.

I don't know what GM was thinking giving DW 17 minutes and only 10 minutes to JR. From what I watched Ragland was much better.

Williams and Stutz have got to figure it out. Both players played really subpar games. Williams needs to play under better control. He was slipping all over the place - just slow it down a notch. Stutz needs to get in position and put the ball up. Stop dribbling the ball and shoot it. He has a good shot and he needs to take it. It would be nice to see him take a page from durley with the fade away jumper.

I disagree I thought they were both equally bad

Murry and Kyles are a very good back court. You have to give Kyles pt as he is playing great.

Marshall has always liked the chemistry of Murry and Kyles together, so if Kyles keeps playing SG like he has and Toure can adjust to PG, it not only puts your two best guards in the starting lineup, it puts two guys out there that make each other better by playing on the same line.

Point guard has to get better, and I think it will by conference time. Rags looks lost and DWill just isn't playing well.

Murry is NOT a PG, but he does a nice job of keeping the team under control and as whole we are better with him at the one right now.

Kyles is a BEAST!!! Give me Murry, Kyles, and Hatch in the backcourt all year!!!!! Nice game from Hatch today as well.

Our three PFs looked pretty good (espescially Ellis I thought). Not a big Ellis fan, but as the glue guy in the paint, you could at least tell he was "adhesive." Blair got some huge rebounds and blocks. Durley got some boards and a couple of great high-low passes.

Stutz didn't get it going. Not a great match-up for him, but he certainly didn't help his cause. Nothing to speak of for EO. Smith is a big time energy guy. I grabbed a couple of hustle rebounds and hit the three. Defense was so-so. He'd be playing a lot more if it wasn't for DK, TM, and GH eating up all his time. It's nice to have 4 quality 6-4 to 6-5 wings.

I think we will do well in the Valley this year, although I haven't seen much Valley play. Just judging on what I've seen in past years, with a little PG play from Rags and/or DWill we will be tough to beat!

I wish we had a point guard!

Williams did not play well but I thought he was better than Ragland. Rags....I don't know. He'll figure it out at some point. Thankfully, we have Murry to run the point until Rags or DWill get it going.
