KGSO has Jason Perez this year, which I LOVE.

They are talking right now, not to plug KGSO necessarily but I do appreciate the 2 hour discussion before each game, as opposed to Bruce and Bob spending 15 minutes talking about their 4 member fantasy football matchup over the weekend.....Good Lord guys.

My calculus class has a study group out at Barnes and Noble and I see him up there quite a bit. Real fan boy moments for me considering he's my favorite shocker of all time. But Jason is easy on the ears the few times I have listened to him. And I love the hour pre-game over on KGSO.

I agree with your take on Hurtel & Klutz...I wonder how much time they would spend WHEN the Shcokers are in the MVC title game.

Jason was, no doubt, one of my 3 or 4 favorite players of all-time. I just don't know if that translates to me enjoying him for two hours before each game. The jury is still out for me. Hopefully he will get easier to listen to as he gains more confidence and comfort in front of the mike.

              What busines is Jason in?

If not a secret, name of employer?

After playing in Europe, did he decided to make Wichita his home?

I think he is doing something in real estate although I have no details.

I think I heard he works for a construction company or contractor. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Last I knew he was working with Southard. I don't think that has changed.

I don't know if it's a paying gig or not, but during a previous Shocker Sound-Off show, Perez mentioned that he is coaching a local Home-Schooled basketball team.

I think he also referenced some sort of "skills academy" that he was developing as well.

As I recall, his wife got a gig here in Wichita (maybe she's from here?) and that's what brought them back.

In any case, it's great to have JP a part of WSU basketball again--even if it is just for Shocker Sound Off.

People still listen to thse BOZOs?????

On Jason Perez ... what a breath of fresh air he was during a very poor period in Shocker basketball history. As a player, Jason was the whole package. I like his insight on the the radio and hope the gig lasts a while for him.

On a different thread, someone commented that they wanted a 16-19 ppg scorer on THIS team. Was Perez the last WSU player to average in that range? Wilson or Burns?

Burns 15.1PPG his sophomore year, highest I could find.
