Yeah it's over. Man I sure hope WSU can dominate the Valley. The whole conference isn't doing so hot right now against decent to good competition....."He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

I NEVER would have expected that result.
MSU is only 4 worse than Tennessee @ Tennessee, but gets whacked by Tulsa?
With Tulsa beating MSU, Nicholls State beating LSU, and SDSU beating Gonzaga - our schedule just keeps looking better and better.
The MVC keeps looking worse and worse. So far the most impressive MVC game was MSU's LOSS to Tennessee.
We're on our own this year. We're going to get nothing but grief from the Valley.
CU is going to stink up their OOC and then get rid of their massive hole by adding another post player just in time for Valley play.
There is no point in supporting other Valley teams in OOC play. We're on our own, but we do have a schedule that can carry us to the Dance without the Valley. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I was at this game. Seemed like it was going to be a really big crowd from all of the traffic, but lucky if there were 4500 there. Student section was less than half full.
MSU looked horrible in the first half. I think they only scored 17. Weems was guarded really well and his shot was off when he did get a chance to shoot. He got his first 2 pts with 9 minutes left in the 1st half off of a tip-in and finished the game with 6 total pts. Creekmore was horrible to start the game, 1 air ball, 1 foul, and 1 TO in the first 90 seconds, but finished with 10pts I think. Mallet looked good. Leonard (10 pts?) looked good, but needed more touches to make a difference.
TU wasn't a whole lot better in the 1st half. The starting PG and SG were their best players tonight. I think they combined for 32 pts. The front line was just average. Our bigs should do very well against them.
