In the exhibition game, Garrett was having problems with traction and even fell down from slipping on the floor. In noticed that he was wearing different shoes during the Texas State game.

I also noticed that DWill was wearing the same kind of shoes last night that Garrett was in the exhibition. He too slipped on a couple of occasions. Demetric was letting guys past him on defense all night long, and while most of that was poor play, I wonder if part of it was less traction than he is used to, causing him to lose a step. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but Garrett switching shoes makes me wonder.

Maybe Garrett's shoes were too sticky. Something last night certainly affected his ups.

Please feel free to quit putting yourself through it.

Eventhough I was having some fun with TMH's post, he made a very good observation and very possibly, a correct one.

I saw it too. Apparently he realized it was a stupid comment and is now trying to hide.

Then let him go--if everyone who said something stupid retracted it that quickly we'd probably be a lot better off.

All in fun. I know I've made stupid comments, have been called on it at times, and acknowledged my error. At the time of my comment on this thread, he had not deleted it (see quote), so I didn't initially react to something already deleted. My second comment, ya, you got me there. I just couldn't resist.

its nice to have the depth for garrett and graham (two pretty consistent performers) to have off nights and still be up by 20 on a team.

It is very humid in Maui and the floor can become quite slippery. Over the years I've seen a lot of players slip there. Better wear some shoes with a lot traction.
