To a non D1 program I would hope that would be the outcome.

They now have a 2-game winning streak against non-D1 schools.

A huge accomplishment for the Aces.

Let's see - non-D1 about 25 miles away with about 600 students. Bethel seems to fit that cetegory really well.

That's about what UE is playing. Oakland City is D2, but the league Bethel is in is a strong NAIA league, so Bethel is probably on a reasonable level with Oakland City.

Evansville isn't "supposed to be bad", they ARE bad.

Doesn't mean they can't hustle and try and prepare and be well coached.

I couldn't care less how bad they beat Oakland City. They lost to DePauw the previous game.

              They ARE bad.

That may be true, but they beat us last year, and I was brought up to where you don't talk about other peoples backyards unless yours is cleaned up....

Just got off a plane in Wichita, coming back from a trip, and caught a pilot saying "The worst place in the country is Evansville, Indiana"

                    :)

I only caught that sentence. No context. I'm assuming it was weather related or pilot accommodations or something, but I did not bother to ask because no matter what the question was, that statement will probably be true.

As for me, I can now safely say that 100% of pilots I've overheard think Evansville is the worst city in the United States.
