Bradley fans were having a bit of a meltdown over on the thier boards over it. I was curious and there were 20+ people over there browsing the forum at 4am!

I don't think it is as bad for Bradley as the doom and gloom type are predicting. Early in the season its easier for a weaker team to trip up a stronger one. About the only thing I would be concerned with is they may have some depth issues.

I don't think it is as bad for Bradley as the doom and gloom type are predicting. Early in the season its easier for a weaker team to trip up a stronger one. About the only thing I would be concerned with is they may have some depth issues.

Rest assured we'd be doing the same thing if we lose to NU on Wednesday (NOT going to happen), but I agree, it's just an exhibition. Learn from it, and move on. It doesn't count against your record (just your ego).

Bradley has done this before and proven they can still be a competent program. I'm not worried about them, Evansville is a different story.

Bradley has 4 very good players Maniscalco, Brown, Warren and Dunson.

As Sub stated the depth behind those 4 could be a significant problem.

I'm not sure how good a predictor of regular season success or failure these exhibition games are.

Not sure of why they under performed vs. Quincy, but don't discount them. I know...they're coached by Jim Les. Set aside that for a moment. Yes, they have 4 very good players, but the non con will help develop yound talent like 6-9, 240 lb redshirt freshman Jordan Prosser & 6-3 freshman swing-man Walter Lemon. Both will play alot. But Bradley is still Bradley.

Yeah, the problem is that even if they develop depth to go alongside their front line talent, until a Jim Les team demonstrates consistency and the ability to play defense, it is hard to pick them to succeed.

That being said, as with their Sweet 16 team, they are a huge threat for the Valley tournament. I am far more afraid of Bradley in a test of who is hot for a handful of games than a test of consistency over a conference schedule.
