Probably the server that's serving this site has it's timestamp screwed up. Daylight savings screwed up and/or wrong time zone or just the date is jacked? That is an odd problem I haven't seen before. I have global board server time set correctly for Central Time, and the countdown is set for 1900 hours on November 10th, yet you are correct it is acting as if it thinks its at 2100 hours. Since we are in that "extra" week of DST that was added a few years ago, I will wait and see what happens after Saturday night.
BTW, for the slower SNers out there, the Newman game is NOT at 9 pm. Its at the usual time of after dinner and before the pre-bedtime refreshing beverage...Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. SeussComment

It will only be accurate if the following three conditions are met:
1. Board time is correct
2. Time zone in your personal profile is correct.
3. You live in the central time zone. (Unfortunately, I don't think the gadget converts between zones.)
How this "extra week" affects it, I'm not sure.Comment

When it was up the other day, the count down time timer was correct for me.
I looked at it maybe about 10-15 minutes before noon and it showed 7 hours, and aound 15-20 minutes till tipoff.Comment
