I just made arrangements for myself and family for a four-day vacation in San Diego.

Kids will miss two days of school, but what the hay.

We really, really, really wanted to do the Hawaii trip, but we just couldn’t swing the airfare.

Airfare to San Diego is much less and I had one free ticket.

I would like to know who else might be making the game.

We are staying in the Gas Lamp district near downtown.

Closest I could get was 17 rows back. Hyped up SDSU crowd. Not a season sell out, but hyped up none the less.

One of my marine buddies plans on driving down from Pendleton. I'm not sure how many friends will be with him.

San Diego is probably my favorite city on Earth.
You guys are gonna enjoy it.

I suggest:
Balboa Park.
San Diego zoo (if you have a free day)
Coronado Island (shopping and sight-seeing)
Old Town San Diego.

While you're landing, look out the window of the plane and look for the yellow buildings near the airport. If any of you know any Marines, this is probably where they experienced hell for 3 months in boot camp.

Anybody planning on coming to the game here in San Diego, just an FYI, the trolley has a stop on the SDSU campus. So, if you are staying somewhere near a trolley stop (i.e. downtown) you can take the trolley straight to campus and avoid driving.

Heard that also. I was thinking it was a 9 pm start CST but he said that it was starting at 9 in San Diego because our game was part of a triple-header for the day on the MTN. I'm confused.

I just went to the Mtn website and it's 8pm Mountain Time, so 9pm CST.
