How good is Denver suppose to be this year?

They have almost all there major players back from last year's team. They were 19-10 and 10-8 in the Sun Belt. They came in 3rd place in the West division behind North Texas and Arkansas State. They aree again predicted for 3rd place.

I used to keep up with the boards for KU and KSU. I didn't post much because my thoughts, opinions, and contributions weren't needed and weren't really going to contribute to the conversation.

At that time, I thought I was retired and I had a lot of time on my hands. Then my house made a request for some funds and I had to become un-retired.

Once I got a job, I didn't have time to go to other school's boards.

I realize that some people develop addictions to message boards and seeing their words in print that anyone IN THE WHOLE WORLD can see. Those people get a lot of self-gratification from seeing their own words on the Net. For them, posting on the Net is a replacement for other forms of gratification they are unable to achieve.

The other posters on the boards they normally visit soon become tired of their posts, and begin ignoring them, which eliminates the gratification they had received. Then they travel to the boards of other teams to see if they can rekindle the satisfaction they strive to achieve.

You do realize that you were the one coming on this board connecting Fever to a user name on Kansas.com in the first place and followed him over to this board, don't you?

Posting on the message board of the team you root for, regardless of quantity, makes perfect sense. I don't see the point of posting on the boards of school I don't follow, but hey to each his own. Becoming obsessed with posters in one location and following them around to other message boards to pester them is just creepy.

Umm, I do follow the Shocks. Most of Wichita does. I spent a few semesters there. I've got pretty good Shocker credentials, and good reason to be upset with what has become of the institution, not just the athletic department.

But, if you refer to my original post on this thread, "how do you win a scrimmage?" The question still stands.

And no, the success or failure of my team's season does not hinge on the outcome of a scrimmage. The success was adequately documented on national TV.

Let the feeding frenzy begin. I can only imagine how good it will feel for the fellas to feed on fresh meat today during the scrimmage with Denver U. We are healthy, except for Hamilton. The ankle injury is apparently a mystery. He hasn't practiced since he hurt it.

we won it by 2.
the second game we won by more, but i'm not sure about the score.

•Marshall seemed pleased with the scrimmage. Denver runs a Princeton-style offense with lots of backcuts. Its desire to play slow frustrated WSU. Marshall told the crowd at the Tip-Off Luncheon that WSU won all five 20-minute segments. “Some were double digits, some were not,” he said. “We’re still a work in progress. It was good to see another jersey color.”
