Kansas City, Mo. ? The seating arrangement at Thursday’s basketball Big 12 Media Day at Sprint Center could not have worked out better. Texas A&M’s fourth-year coach Mark Turgeon sat at his table, and directly to his right was Colorado first-year coach Tad Boyle, his former right-hand man. “I’m not sitting here without him, and […]

I've said it before, if anyone can be successful at CU it's Tad. Moving to the Pac 10 may help him...

              Bad news for Boyle --

Shane Harris-Tunks, Australian big man for Colorado, tore his ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.

"This news is especially tough for CU because the 6-foot-11 sophomore had added some much needed weight to his somewhat-lanky frame (25 pounds) and had drawn raves from coach Boyle, who described the Aussie as the team's most improved player since fall workouts began."

He should be able to start recruiting LA now that CU will be in the PAC. That ought to help.

It certainly doesn't hurt WSU's reputation to have two successful coaches scattered around. That is as long as it is only two.

I have every confidence that Boyle will be successful at Colorado, but he will do it his way. Colorado will no longer be a bottom feeder.

Tad's team just beat #20 K-State in Manhattan also. Impressive way to start 2-0 in the Big XII for Tad!
