Do they count the wins according to what your opponent is at the time of the game, or by what RPI your opponent ends up at, at the end of the season?

At the end of the season. RPI only matters when the selection committee gets together to make their decisions.

I just checked the latest RealTimeRPI. They have us at #39, but only going 22-7 (13-5). They have us losing to Northern Iowa, Evansville, and Missouri State.
They have Northern Iowa losing to Drake, Evansville, Bradley, and Creighton for a 11-7 record.
They have Missouri State not losing any more conference games and ending at 15-3.

We're getting some pretty good respect but Royal is right. There is a huge gap between 25th and 27th. We would need a couple teams to tank this week. If that happens, then we'd have a chance in the AP. The coaches' are always behind by about a week or two.
Just win baby.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Kung Wu has it right. If we beat SIU and then UNI, we should be ranked, but we will have to be extra careful not to have a letdown against Evansville on the road. The Shockers are circling their prey, let's just hope they can hone in for the kill!!!
I kind of feel like the Shocks are coming into their own, and they just need to keep it up. I want the Seniors, especially, to be able to get to the Dance.
