  • What results will satisfy you for the upcoming season?

Expectations are pretty high this year (as they should be) with this WSU squad. What is the minimum this team has to accomplish this season for you to be satisfied?

At minimum, another Valley tournament win over a Big 12 school.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

Regular season MVC championship, NCAA birth and ranking in top 25 most of the year and at the end of the season.

I think the Shockers will do better than that but I'll be satisfied.

You have some pretty low expectations, imo.

This is what I expect the Shocks to do this season. A top 25 ranking doesn't really matter as much though. A solid season under the radar and good run in the NCAA tourney would be great.

MVC regular season championship or MVC postseason championship.. at least one or the other. MidWest NCAA tourney bracket, same as the Big 12 winner tourney bracket. More local talk from Lutz and Heartl about how one of the greatest college basketball conferences of all time is chopped liver. And.. Sweet 16. Maybe more.

Elite 8 Everything else including rankings and victories over any BCS team is just gravy.

Did you mean NCAA Tournament win over a B12 school?

I read that two or three times. I was wondering if KSU got booted from the Big IX and joined the Valley.

Every player continues on pace to graduate on time. We are led by class and professionalism and nobody gets into any trouble outside the rigors of the program.

I walk away every game proud to be a supporter of WSU which means the kids and the coaches left what they had on the floor, win or lose, and their heads are held high.

And I am serious. Do those things and the record will take care of itself in my eyes.

Nice post, WuDrWu. I agree with those things.

In terms of on court accomplishments. I will be satisfied with making the NCAA tournament after winning the Valley regular season conference.

I think we could do more than that and it could be a very special season, but making the dance at all will be a good step for the program.

                          What he said.

                          That's very well said, Doc

Very good Doc, I'd also like to add no injuries.
