A hint for anyone wanting to sync the radio and TV broadcasts... I've found that if the radio delays their signal a few seconds, and you have cable with DVR, you can use the pause button with the TV remote to sync to the radio. It lets you control the syncing as opposed to hoping its going to work out. If they don't delay the radio broadcast, I've found it to be a crapshoot whether you can sync or not.

You can always sync if you use the internet version of shocker radio broadcasts.

This works wonders. Pause and wait for a whistle seems to work best for me.

But it'd be MUCH better if they put them on a station everyone can get. MSU appears to have a better setup than we do and that's sad.
              How so?

I know for years they were terrible. They usually don't get a lot of games on tv and what little they do get, they were on Mediacom, the poor man's Cox.

Maybe I should look more closely, but I believe I saw most of their games that aren't on Fox Sports or ESPN are on NBC and CW. Both stations everyone gets. Where we're stuck on 22 which only Cox subscribers get. We may get one game on our local CBS but that's it.

Mark Alan is with Cox now, I wonder if he is pining for the play by play gig. I believe KSN owns channel 22 though.

I just checked and no TV stations outside of Doo Dah are carrying WheatShocker games. I also noted that the WheatShocker radio network consists of 1 (one) station. Just 1 (one).

                    Why is that?

It's called the internet (thanks Al Gore). You can listen anywhere in the wide, wide world. ;-)

I would rather reach as many fans as humanly possible. FM radio would certainly enhance that.

You are incorrect. I assume you are forgetting about ESPN for starters.

Regardless, many Cox markets, including I think EVERY Cox market in Kansas, carries Channel 22.

I've been watching the games on Cox in Topeka for the last eight years.

In fact, I think there have beem more WSU games in Topeka than KSU games in the past several years.

Might try getting some facts before you start your braying.

But your point about the WSU radio network is fair. I don't know why more stations don't carry WSU games. There are a ton of stations out there. I think that neither WSU or the company that handles the broadcats have ever tried very hard to expand the radio network.

KSu has a lot of alumni from areas like this:

It takes a lot of radio stations to reach a very small number of people out there.
