Loudest game you've been to at the Chuck?

Florida State was the loudest game at Koch without doubt. There were thousands of fans present who weren't season ticket holders and they did themselves proud.
I was at the 63 game and it was ear splitting. Remember, back then there were more than 11,000 present every night.
The Iowa game was the best game of the Smithson era and it was as loud as it can get. What an atmosphere.
The loudest game ever and the most rowdy was the last game at Levitt between Smith and Nolan Richardson. It was an afternoon game. It was a fist fight looking for a basketball game. My mom couldn't hear for a week after. The noise was non-stop. The low brass cheer was banned for a decade as a result of this game. Hopefully we can set a standard at IBA with the WSU/Tulsa game this year!"Two dribbles and a ham sandwich" ~ Gregg Marshall

Bradley same time frame. Scored something like 120 on them when they were ranked and Hersey Hawkins played.
I like the way this guy thinks. The out of bounds play #5 for Everett Stevens was mildly impressive.
WSU's execution against Bradley was unbelievable that night. It was borderline comical how well we ran the offense, in fact I was even laughing, not at Bradley, but at how easy we made it look. It was one of those nights. I think the Hawk had 27 in the first half that night....and the Praylow twins were ALL OVER him. It was great defense, and he still had 27 at half.

Likewise, FSU, with the different crowd, was LOUD and harsh. No wine and cheese group for sure.
I've mentioned many times before, but the SIU game sometime during Mark's tenure (maybe 2004?) was the loudest I remember. When Mark called timeout (at least his 2nd or 3rd of the 1st half) and started chewing those kids about 4 new ***holes......from then (about 43-11 SIU) until Matt Clark hit a 3 to close out the half and cut the lead to around 10, it hurt to be inside the Chuck. I'd give anything to have the radio (or video for that matter) archive of that game. I'll take the memory of Coach Turgeon's head bouncing back and forth, lecturing the team, while the crowd just kept getting louder and louder as Mark got madder and madder......it was a special moment.
It didn't get much quieter in the 2nd half as WSU ended up taking the lead. It got very quiet when SIU righted the ship and won late.
That Saluki team was one of the toughest groups I've ever seen, at any level. There weren't 3 teams in the country that could have withstood that run from WSU. They were true champions.
