Very cool reference but I have to take issue with the best team ever for Heights. Shows the writer doesn't know about Darnell Valentine, Antoine Carr, James Carr, Adolphus Holden and Calvin Alexander who won the state championship game by 40 or 50 points. That was the best Kansas team ever, much less Heights best team.

Where is all this Perry Ellis criticism coming from? Is it because he hasn't already verbally committed to WSU and has the nerve in your eyes to consider other schools? C'mon, we're better than that..."Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should accomplish with your ability."

I can speak a little to the contribution of Wessell to the program, having watched him since the 7th grade. The inference from most questions on the board is that he must be a good shooter, but not very athletic. That would be completely inaccurate.
As most of real Shocker fans know, his grandfather played for the Shockers. He is big, athletic, long and very strong with the ball, treating most of the jitterbug style City League guards like gnats, swatting them away and almost NEVER getting picked. A good spot-up shooter with plenty of range, although that will not be his strength in the Valley. He will be both the very cerebral guy who doesn't make a lot of mistakes, as well as the exciting guy who can no-look a bounce pass through traffic to a "Shocked" teammate for a flush. He's gonna be the quality kid you love to cheer for. Think Tony Martin with a lot more talent.
Go watch him play safety for a very good Heights football team. Always gets to the right spot, combining above average speed with great instincts. That translates well in ANY sport.
I predict Shocker fans are gonna love this kid.

Has anyone ever questioned his athleticism on here? Most question I recall about him are could he really run the point here as some have said or would he strictly be a 2/3 guy.
No matter the answer, I've been pretty excited about this kid for a while. I wish I had a Heights game this year but I do not. Hopefully I have an off night where I can check them out.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

About Wessel, if you haven't seen him go here http://www.youtube.com/user/toddwessel. I think he is gonna surprise a lot of people when he comes in. He hasn't really gotten a lot of attention because he was an early commit to us. I have also heard he is the type of player who just seems to make his teammates around him play better. If I remember correctly the game Heights lost last year, Evan did not play in, or maybe it was right after he came back from being hurt. He will definitely contribute a lot to this team.

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
