WHAT A LAME COMPARISON. NOT THE SAME AND YOU KNOW IT.
OJ didn't start with killing people. He started with smacking his wife around. The police were called about half a dozen times for domestic violence complaints, where his wife was bruised and bloody.

OJ was never prosecuted for domestic violence because his wife refused to testify against him. His sister-in-law discussed with TV news how much she wished her sister had pressed charges against OJ because maybe that would have stopped him before it got to the ultimate conclusion that occurred.

It's not the same thing because only a small percentage of guys who smack their girlfriends around end up killing them. A broken jaw is only a warning sign. Failure to prosectue is almost a guarantee of further assaults, because there is no deterrent. Only in really rare cases do the victim's present a deterrent. It's so rare that the name Dwayne Bobbitt is still known.

Wow, all CAPS. Must have hit a nerve. Look, you can have your opinion and I have mine. I've dealt with scum bags like this all my life and you'll just have to live with the fact that I think 99.9% of them are guilty.

It's not common for people who are "playing around" to show up at the hospital with broken jaws, or to have to explain "accidents" to the police.

Do I think he hit her? Yes. Are there circumstances surrounding the incident that we don't know about? I'm certain there are, but if you think you'll ever hear the truth from either one of them, you’re living in la la land. She is trying to protect the meal ticket.

The comparison was a joke, but it's not lame. You surmise that the media must be treating Dunn unfairly because of his "name", and since he has no "past history of violence" any possibility of guilt doesn't register with you. You can withhold judgment until you have all the facts, but if you're going to wait for that you better pack a big lunch.

I'm not surmising anything. I didn't say that the media was treating Dunn "unfairly". What I said was it is not unheard of that the media sees a story with a "name" in it and runs with the story (wouldn't want to get scooped while trying to confirm if the story has the facts straight).

                Is he guilty -- I don't know.
Is he not guilty -- I don't know.

And frankly you don't either. If he is guility I hope they lose the key for awhile. If he's not guility, I would hope someone would want to be first in line to unlock the door.

Enough of my time has been spent on this. I'll just wait until the whole thing resolves itself, and then we will both know.

                  When it rains, it pours!

Baylor coach Scott Drew is refusing to confirm a report that the NCAA is investigating the school's recruitment of a high school player from South America.
