    The unscheduled game will be ...

    With October approaching and still an empty slot on the schedule, there's only one good possibility and 3 bad possibilities.

    Besides that, we needed a new topic out here.
    The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
    We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

        But I'm pretty sure it'll be another Alcorn type team. One of those games where half of us will fall asleep during the game because it's so boring. We'd be better off scheduling Heights than the team we're bound to get.

            I do agree. But I also sympathize with some of those low RPI teams going through a rebuilding process trying to dig out of their trench (I recognize that some of them aren't necessarily rebuilding); much like we are always having to fight to get a BCS game. Not that I want to screw up what we have, just like the BCS teams don't want to screw up what they have. It's just easy to sympathize with them a wee bit.

              Does anyone know how the scheduling operates? Does the DOBO schedule the games, with the agreement from HCGM? Does HCGM have the final say-so over which games the team will play?

              I can not help but feel like someone has dropped the ball in getting games scheduled. We are the last or near last MVC member to get their schedule for the year confirmed and set. If someone is paying attention, and spending time on this on an everyday basis, why can't they get it done???

              I mean, I would have been fired if I didn't meet my deadlines at work.

                I'm not sure what the roles each plays, but I'm sure the HCGM and ADES have huge roles. The AD is the money man but I guessing in the end it all comes down to the HC if the money is okay per the AD for buy games.

                  It sounds like we are about to find out who the last home game will be against, and if it is Denver, that won't be bad.
