No I looked for a couple pre-season rags while I was out today and didn't see any. I'll check again. It's good reading material while on the "throne"....that's about all it is. ;) :lol:

Did matilda have a hand in lindy's again this year? I know he had a....stellar....article listing all of the best jumpers/scorers...etc last year. It was pretty laughable. I know Pivovar is the one who gives the full conference preview. He's usually pretty decent.

Thanks for the scoop KC. I will march down to get me a copy because I am needy for Shocker Basketball. Here's the deal. Most folk will pick us to win the Valley I think. Even so, are we a top 25 team or a top 40-50? The verdict is still a mystery on that. I almost like keeping the hype to a 'mild roar' early on and then March on strong toward March and smack dab into the 'Dancing with the Stars' during March Maddness. B52 nose dives similar to the Season after our Sweet 16 appearence would be a true-blue bummer. That Season, we soared to #8 in the Country early on and Shocked :shock: some solid teams, only to fizzle when it really mattered. No more of that.

The Shockers have awesome quality depth along with several Juniors and Seniors. This should mean we can win more on the cold and lonely road and overcome the bullseye of anticipated success that will be on our back. Yes, we will again win at Home sweet home. The key will be playing together and being consistent far, far away also, when we depart from our home cooking at 21st and Hillside. An experienced team is expected to do just that. Are we a top 40 Team or will we end up in the top 25 as we dream of? Stay tuned!!!!!!!

Here's the deal. KC now owes me 77.77? Why? Went for the mag, the whole mag, and nothing but the mag. THE STINKIN MAG WAS NOT IN YET!!! FSF needed a Shocker fix and shant yet have it. Thus, duress and havoc overcame me like a bullfrog in a hailstorm, and hunger rushed in and overwhelmed me. Thus, I walked out with 63 smackers worth of grub and I must request another 14.77 for the mental anquish of no Shocker scoop. Groovy, can u dig it? The check is in the mail KC? We all need a fall-guy baby!!! Yikes!!! If anybody knows, what was the predicted order of the teams and where they are picked to finish? Was there anybody from WSU on the 1st or 2nd team picks or POY? What about who they think the best newcomers are? Hmmmm???

Indeed it's hard to understand how the Shox could be excluded from the Top 40 and still be favored to win the MoVal. I expect WSU to be in the Top 25 or 30 with most major publications.

Just saw Athlons , we are picked to win Valley followed by CU then MoST. TM 1st team. Has us going two games and out in NCAA. Valley gets 2 in WSU and CU.
