I am just bored to death, no impending news about the team, nothing about the schedule, many posters that used to post on here no longer post, and this place just has 1 hand sticking out of the ground!!!

I remember thinking the same thing last season, it picks up around november. There are just a lot of people that must not look until the season gets a little closer. Shockernet is just fine.

Once practice starts and Sully writes a few articles and maybe we hear from a coach or two things will pick up. Right now there's not a lot going on. A little bit of recruiting news and that's about it. Volleyball should help some activity on the board but does nothing for basketball.

There's no football. Basketball is months away and any discussions are pretty much wild speculation.

Folks are tired from the extended period of brutal hot weather. Save it for when it matters.

Not sure about anyone else, but Mitch Caster's death 'took the wind out of my sails'. I have literally felt sick to my stomach since I heard the tragic news. I've read every entry in the on-line guest book and have been deeply moved by the comments from all over the nation. I know this is the wrong thread, but please keep Mitch and his family in your thoughts and prayers and attend the memorial service at Eck Stadium Friday afternoon.

I'm excited about the upcoming season, but the main thing I'm thinking about right now is Maui and I don't feel it would be nice or fair to the other posters to keep talking about how much fun Maui's going to be!!!!
