I wanted to upgrade and have been looking for info about that. Does this mean I've missed my shot at it? I haven't seen any info about the upgrade I requested.

I talked to the people at the ticket office today. They called my house about upgrading my seats a couple of weeks ago and my wife probably didn't recognize the Caller ID as anyone she wanted to talk to (or conveniently ignored my opportunity to spend more money)

I didn't check how the remaining tickets were selling, but the tone of the people at the ticket office seemed to be that if anyone wnated to do anything, they should do it NOW! and that didn't sound like a sales pitch.

There was exactly one upgrade available from my current spot. Renewal rates were (not surprising to me) near 100% and there were very few upgrades available for anyone.

I'm currently in row 25, section 120, just north of mid-court. A move to row 20 (I didn't even check the section) would have required me to contribute an additional $865 in SASO contributions and I already contribute more than is required for my seat. If there had been anything available in row 24, that would have cost me $100+ more than I've already paid. Row 25 looked like a real bargain after that phone call.

WSU fans are willing to contribute a lot to the program for seats at basketball games. We should be thankful for that.

If anyone wants season tickets, get them NOW - not next week - and certainly not next year. In times like this, the first step is just get into the building, even if it's behind a pole. It doesn't look like it's going to get easier or less expensive to that in the future.

I have friends who went from row 20 to 12 I believe, may have been 10 this year. They're very happy and it didn't require an increase in anything. Lucky family.

Hopefully those 350 tickets are the "corporate only show up for big game" ones. It'd be great to trade those to much more passionate fans.
