Wow. Does all sports news have to be a 30-min or 1-hour event on an ESPN network station?

I'm glad we're going to find out, but I thought the internet would make us less reliable on TV/radio/newspaper. Instead, we get all those tournaments waiting to announce the match-ups together on an orchestrated ESPN special.

When you have 8 different channels, there's a lot of air time to fill. I'm sure it will take 30 minutes to highlight all of the tournaments and the teams playing in them.

Plus it is a slow time of the year for sports, with no college sports and MLB being the only major pro sport going on.

Based on their roster, they will be very inexperienced, from a starter stand point. They only return two significant players, Alex Oriakhi and Kemba Walker, Oriakhi was selected for the Big East All-Rookie team and Walker was a Big East All-3rd team selection. Kemba Walker put up 14.6 a game and looks to be a decent shooter. Oriakhi only averaged 5 points and 6.6 rebounds a game. Everyone else is either a freshman or has been a spare part in their time at UConn. They will be replacing 3 starters who scored over 42 points a game for them.

I agree, if we are able to beat UCONN in that first game this tournament will be incredible. If we lose to UCONN I'm going to have a hard time realizing that I just spent $110 to watch us play Chaminade. JUST WIN BABY!!!!!

This is our year. I predict an 'upset' although I don't think any WSU fans will be surprised.
