We'll get good tickets, GN. Never fear. If you are going, remind me via PM in case I forget and I'll let you know when I find out where the WSU tickets will be.
Thanks Doc, will do. I will be making the trip and bringing two friends who live a short drive away in East Texas. I'm not worried about getting tickets, but I would like to sit where all of WSU is sitting - my buddies are Aggies that I recruited to the Shocks cause back in '05, they will be vocal, and they don't have any love for LSU.

In other words, we could sit in the middle of a bunch of toofless swamprats in LSU gear, but it might get ugly...

Bump. Less than 3 weeks away.

Does anybody have information on getting tickets near the WSU "section"?

This has been a frustrating process. You cannot get any information from LSU or this venue.

I am under the impression that they (the WSU staff) don't know where the invited guest seats will be, just that we have some.

I doubt the Arena has tickets set aside for WSU fans. You get what you get and you don't throw a fit as my daughter used to say.

Perhaps we should coordinate our selection areas so that we keep the Shocker faithful together?

Great idea. Any suggestions on putting it into practice? Even knowing which section is behind/close to the Shocker bench would be helpful.

Looks like 117-121 are behind the benches in this configuration:

After squinting at the small type on the printout of the chart, there is a very small "Visitor" above the bench in front of Sections 117 and 118.

I'll also point out that the words "seating diagram subject to change without notice" are in a font about 10 times larger than that denoting the Visitors bench...

There should be plenty in attendance considering LSU is playing "Witchita" State. http://www.centurytelcenter.com/clie...%2022%2010.pdf

This is not exactly a gimme game. Granted, LSU has not exactly had a stellar nonconference schedule, however they did lose to Memphis by only 9. I think they have three probably not very good opponents between now and our game, so maybe not a lot of challenge there. However, after SDSU, our nonconference doesn't look all that great either. LSU has lost twice in nonconference (both by 9 points). One, of course, to the aforementioned Memphis and the other one to -- drum roll here please -- Nicholls State (which is our next home opponent). Don't know whether to worry about either of these opponents, but I hope the team doesn't take either one for granted.

Found this article about the upcoming game.

Seating will only be a little more than 7300.

Is there any consensus among people going where to sit?
