  • ESPN: What's Wrong with College Basketball?

Given the promise of anonymity, 20 high-profile head coaches from across the country let loose on what and who plagues the world of college basketball recruiting -- and what can be done to fix it.

The author of this article interviewed 20 different college coaches under conditions of full anonymity and presented a survey of the results. Interesting stuff.

      Also...

Yes, and I noted in another thread, now that St. Roy is at UNC, anytime a player he wants signs somewhere else Carolina figures the other school must have cheated to get him.

      Sound familiar?

"20 high profile head coaches, representing each of the six power conferences." complaining about the lax oversight of an organization they control and the dishonesty in a system they helped create. How laughable. And thanks to the total waste of space butt kisser that is ESPN, we can all feel sorry for these over-payed, over-publicized, self-righteous, self-serving, whoa is me, prima donnas. TO HELL WITH THAT! Hey Boeheim, you dumb-a**, come pick-up my garbage.

"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.
