    Happy 4th of July

    I hope everyone celebrates this 4th of July in a sfae and enjoyable manner.

    Every 4th of July, I listen to the attached rendition of the writing of the Star Spangle Banner and take time to appreciate what it really means, or should mean, to each and every one of us.

    I've got a pork loin and rack of ribs on the smoker. Some time this evening when that's done and there are still some embers left, the hot dogs are waiting.

    My neighbor has the fireworks budget covered for the neighborhood.

    I'm set.
    The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
    We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

          Thanks, Shockball, but I didn't do anything that millions upon millions of Americans haven't done through the ages and are doing so courageously today.

          Our young men and women fighting for our freedom throughout the world are the ones in danger today and they and their families need all the moral support and prayers we can give them.
