  • Bradley to play at Duke

Good for them and the Valley. This is one program that you should play even if it is a 1 and done like Bradley is doing.

"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

    Good for Bradley.

I certainly hope they said "no" to us before getting the game with BU.

But I suspect my hope will go by the wayside.

I would be shocked if our schedule makers are even making contact with the likes of Duke, NC, FSU, etc.

Concerning scheduling, which apparently comes under the TOP SECRET, EYES ONLY category, it sure would, however, be interesting to know:

Which schools we contacted and which schools, if any, contacted us?

Who turned us down and whom did we turn down?

Did we turn down any one and dones and, if so, from whom?

I could care less who plays at Duke. What do they play 40 home games a year at that place? Somebody's got to go there. If Duke leaves for a road game anywhere that would be news. I always thought that for a team to qualify for the NCAA tourny, at least a third of the nonconference games should be played on the road. (I'd call it the Duke Rule)

Point is it's better than playing Alcorn St at home....just sayin.

So, you make them play road games. All they're likely to do is schedule a home-and-home with Alcorn State.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.
