I think being quicker and stronger at PG will help reduce overall team fouls this year.

Brackins in my opinion could be a very quality NBA player for years to come. He has a great inside out game. He may have came out a year to late however, I think that his stock dropped after this year. Finally while Big E and the rest of the UNI post player contained him pretty well this past year, two years ago he did go for something like 38 points single handlely leading Iowa State to the win.
As for Aldrich he is easily the most-overrated player in the draft. He is under-sized to be a post only player. Big E proved that if matched up with a player of same size and strength Aldrich is nothing special. In the NBA he will see that every game not just every 5-10 games. Also he won't be able to defend a big man with a decent outside shot, another thing Jordan proved and another thing he will see constantly in the NBA.
I don't remember the UNI-KU game that well; did "Big E" play fantastic defense? In particular, the memory involving Eglseder that remains for me is Stutz dribbling around him to the basket for a score. How was Eglseder's defense against other centers in the MVC (besides blocks, at which he was pretty good)?
Did Eglseder shut down Stutz in the MVC tourney championship game?
Stutz had 11 points in 19 minutes while Eglseder had 10 points in 22 minutes. http://www.mvc.org/mbb/stats/mvc09.h...DB_OEM_ID=7600
Stutz hit 40% (4-10) including 50% from 3 (1-2) while Eglseder hit 37.5% (3-8 ) with no three point attempts.
I'm not sure I agree on Eglseder's great defense. Stutz did have 4 fouls but I don't recall if Eglseder's defense was responsible. I'm not sure Aldrich was a great test for Eglseder because Aldrich was weak IMHO. (I would like to see "Big E" at least get a shot at the NBA.)Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

He doesn't have the stamina and he can't defend anyone who's decently mobile. Straight up post D isn't bad. He has some offensive game but his conditioning still isn't great. If he makes it at all in the NBA he's gonna have to bust his tail to get better or it'll simply be because he's a big seven footer.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

Egor made Aldrich look bad. Egor was the superior player in that one game. Cole did not take advantage of his mobility and did not attempt to guard Egleseder outside of 12 foot. That was a big mistake, although not one you would expect based on the scouting report. If I recall, Egor made two three pointers in the first half which was double what he made the rest of the year.Livin the dream
